Mr Singhs India Gate

The restaurant was really great. Just stopped here by chance on our way back to the glasgow from highlands. The ambience is really good. The food was nice and great. We ordered chilly chicken as starter, main course was paratha, garlic Naan and chicken punjabi style curry and the service was really good and price was reasonable. Overall, the restaurant is worth visiting they have wide range of menu offering south indian dishes and especially kerala cuisine and north Indian dishes.

Made a booking for this restaurant and was not disappointed. Upon arrival we got an extremely warm welcome from the staff. The restaurant was busy, but there wasn't a long wait for the food and it was outstanding. There was zero fault in the food, the waiting staff were friendly, kind, asking if we needed anything but didn't feel like they were hovering over you pestering you. I would highly recommend Mr Singhi's and I will definitely be returning again in thr near future.

Just back after a really good experience, the manager was really helpful & very attentive. Starter dishes The dishes, were of really high quality & the poppadoms were really good, all fresh. Starters The fish pakora was ok, the batter was quite tough, but overall tasted nice. Vegetable pakora, the wife really enjoyed it. Main meals Chicken & prawn tikka masala. the chicken & prawns were really succulent & cooked perfect, I thought the sauce was quite bland. The South Indian garlic chilli chicken The wife had this & loved it, had a little kick to it, but full of taste. Vegetable korma Was really good aswell, was really sweet & creamy. The Cheese & Garlic Naan breads were full of taste. If we were ever in dunblane again, we'd definitely dine in here again.

Stopped here by chance when we saw they were open at lunchtime. We were going to get a takeaway as we had the dog with us but no need, they have a dedicated dog area. So we were able to get seated without worrying about the dog. Great lunchtime meal deals and the food was exceptional. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Absolutely BANGING. I visited with kids and parents while in the local area and everyone was so impressed with the food. We’re Punjabi so it’s hard to impress us with Indian food but this place lived up to all the reviews. Honestly if you’re in the area, or even if you’re not then definitely come check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Stayed at the Hilton Hydro for our anniversary and walked down to Mr Singhs. Absolutely amazing. Food was fantastic. It’s just a pity we stay so far away, but we will be back. It was that good.

Up a little visit to the hydro, popped in for dinner, the food is brilliant! Nans are huge! Food was right up there with the best ive had. Would highly recommend trying. The only thing and Its maybe just me, let me sit down and before firing a menu into my hand. Apart from that lovely food 5 stars all day long

This is one of many Christmas parties we have had at the India Gate and I am sure that the group will return in the future. As it was the Christmas menu, the staff brought us out a selection of starters to have and a selection of curries and I literally cant fault any of it. I tried the honey pakora and sweet chilli pakora and by god were they good. I had the south Indian garlic for a main which was lovely and despite it being spicy, it wasn't painful to the point that it ruined the dinner. Staff were all professional, polite and did a fantastic job waiting for over 45 people as well as the rest of the restaurant. They kept forgetting about a jug of water for one of us which is totally understandable considering how many there were. Would 100% recommend India Gate !
